Death Stranding 2: On the Beach

• Most locations' upgrades top out at a 4 stars connection. You can check their corpus entries to see what you'll get for the next level of connection.

• The Mexico locations have some worthwhile upgrades and can easily be 4-starred once you unlock the truck.

• When you turn in several pieces of cargo at once, you usually can't increase a location's rank by more than one star at a time - it caps you at a sliver under the next star's threshold. However, if you turn them in one at a time, you'll get all the likes out of it and can sometimes get two stars in a row. (Or more if you really have a lot.)

• You can hold the select multiple items button, square, and then just hold up or down to select things as they scroll by instead of hitting a button each time.

• The automated package retrieval gun on the truck can be cancelled by tapping the break if you don't want whatever it's aiming at.

• If a location's star rating absolutely won't increase, you probably have to do sub missions for them. Usually you'll get an SSS message for those.

• If a location seems completely stuck it may be worth it to check nearby enemy camps' postboxes.

• The DHV Magellan has limited materials storage, but can hold vastly more materials if you store them in your private locker as cargo.
